This self check has been developed as a simple tool to:
- Provide an overview of the health and wellbeing issues addressed by H&W@W and how they link to the Investors in People Standard and Profile through a new framework that has been developed.
- Help you review how your organisation currently supports the health and wellbeing of your people.
- Enable you to identify current strengths and potential areas for development.
The results are based on your responses to a series of questions. They give an initial picture of how your organisation’s approach to managing and developing people may already be in line with the requirements of Health & Wellbeing at Work, or indeed go beyond it. There are 34 questions and this is expected to take 5-10 minutes to complete.
Please be aware that a true picture can only be gained by a full assessment of your organisation’s practices. You may want to discuss your results with your Investors in People Assessor or Advisor as part of your preparation for an assessment against the Health & Wellbeing at Work criteria being piloted between 2006 and 2008.
