Role of the IIP Centre 
There are currently 13 Investors in People (IIP) Centres within the UK (covering England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland). Their main role is to offer Investors in People assessment and recognition services to organisations in their area and quality assure the process. They also have a key role in developing Investor in People Practitioners in their region. They are licensed and quality assured by Investors in People UK on an annual basis to ensure they deliver the expected level of service.

The IIP Centre is responsible for allocating an Assessor to individual projects and quality assuring the assessment process.
